The Department of Psychiatry has been in operation for 40 years, and its staff includes psychiatrists who received their training at some of the top universities and hospitals in the world, including Harvard, Mayo, and Johns Hopkins.

The 1st neuropsychiatry clinic in India was established by Dr. Rajesh Parikh in 1989, and it quickly rose to become one of the busiest psychiatry clinics in private hospitals nationwide and one of the top three clinics overall in the hospital.
