After his MBBS, Dr Prashant completed his MS in Orthopaedics at TNMC & BYL NAIR Hospital Mumbai. He is working as Assistant Professor at KEM Hospital Mumbai. Then he pursued orthopaedics fellowship overseas at world-renowned Hospitals (Prince of wales hospital Hong Kong, Katharinen Hospital Stuttgart Germany, Rhon Klinikum Clinic for Hand Surgery campus Bad Neustadt Germany). 

Dr Prashant gained experience in the latest technologies in orthopaedics especially arthroscopic management of wrist and elbow injuries. He is proficient in performing most orthopaedics surgery with a special interest in Hand, Wrist and elbow-related pathology. 

He has published several articles in international journals and written several book chapters. He has made presentations as faculty in International & National orthopaedics congress (AAOS, SICOT)
