Profile Summary

Dr. Palep has 20 years experience in Upper GI and Bariatric Surgeries. He completed his MBBS from Seth G S medical College followed by MS from BYL Nair Hospital. He has been an Associate professor at prestigious Grant Medical College from 2007-2014. He is the first person in India to be fellowship trained in Italy for Robotic GI Surgery. He also has the distinction of performing a large variety of robotic GI, HPB surgeries. He is the only surgeon in Western India performing robotic bariatric surgery since the last 7 years. He has setup the department of Bariatric Surgery at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, and at Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital.

He has trained many surgeons over the last decade in various courses conducted by hospitals across the country. His cases have been demonstrated live at various international conferences. He has published multiple peer-reviewed articles in international journals and is invited across the country and abroad to give talks in his fields of interest.
