• Laparoscopic hernia repair for Inguinal (groin) hernia- ""TEP repair"" Umbilical hernia Ventral /Incisional hernias
• Laparoscopic fundoplication for hiatus hernia,
• Laparoscopic cardiomyotomy for achalasia
• Laparoscopic splenectomy
• Laparoscopic cholecystectomy
• Laparoscopic colectomy

 

Minimally Invasive Endocrine surgery for :-

• Parathyroids, adrenals and thymus.
• Thoracoscopic surgeries:-
• Decortication / drainage of empyema
• Lung stapling for bullae/ spontaneous pneumothorax
• Surgery for eventration of diaphragm
• Mediastinal mass / LN excision
• Sympathectomy for hyperhidrosis of hands "

Introduction:

• Trained in General Surgery at BYL Nair hospital and did his Masters of Surgery (M.S.) from the University of Mumbai.
• Thereafter, obtained training as a Laparoscopic Surgeon at St. Georges Hosp Medical School, London and worked in UK for a period of 8 years. Became a fellow of the two most reputed surgical colleges in UK viz. Royal College of Surgeons of London and Edinburgh.
• Later worked as a Consultant Surgeon, London with main interest in Minimally Invasive / Laparoscopic Surgery.
• He has also undergone training at the world’s leading laparoscopic training centres in Strasbourgh (ETIS), Bordeaux, Guildford (MATTU) and with Prof. Cuscheri at Dundee.
•  Has a 15 years experience as a Consultant Laparoscopic Surgeon at leading hospitals in Mumbai. "
• Teaching faculty member at CEMAST (Centre of Excellence in Minimal Access Surgery Training).
