  •  Started sub speciality of Paediatric Nephrology at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for children Mumbai in 1976. The first in western India so that children of all ages suffering from acute and chronic kidney diseases could be treated systematically and properly irrespective of socio-economic status.
  •  IPNA recognised B.J.wadia hospital as a centre for training in Paediatric Nephrology for young paediatricians after systematically evaluating the quality of the academic and clinical educational programmes)
  • MUHS and IAP fellowship programes in Pediatric Nephrology at B.J. Wadia hospital for young paediatricians.
