Introduction

Dr. Nusrat Shaikh has undergone undergraduate medical  training from T. N. Medical College and Nair hospital, Mumbai followed by DNB in Nuclear Medicine from Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai. 

 She has formerly worked at Lilavati hospital, Picture this by Jankharia and King Edward memorial (KEM) hospital, Mumbai.  

Dr. Nusrat Shaikh has over 10 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Shaikh specializes in Gamma camera imaging, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT imaging and its applications in oncology and non-oncological- infective and inflammatory conditions. She also specializes in sentinel node biopsies, targeted radionuclide therapies in thyroid cancer, neuroendocrine tumors, therasphere/Sirsphere therapy in liver tumours and advanced prostate cancer.

Received Best oral paper presentation on Novel solid state Gamma camera in SNMI conference at Chandigarh in 2010.
