Head of Department, Ophthalmology at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar hospital, Mumbai for last 30 years.

Performing approximately 40 cataract surgeries per month as well as other anterior segment surgeries including trauma management for the last 30 years. 

Squint work up and surgical and non surgical management, DNB teacher and examiner for past 20 years. Founder secretary and present chairperson of Indian Railways ophthalmic association affiliated to AIOS. 

• DNB teacher for Opthalmology and examiner for 20 years with more   than 35 students having passed out since then. 

• Was invited in Wisdom tree by centre for sight to share my teaching experience 

• Guest speaker in Annual conference of Asia pacific trauma society, Annual conference  of Occupational health 

• Presented papers and posters in MOS, AIOS, BOA and annual conference of Indian Railways ophthalmologist association 

 

• Life member of AIOS, DOS,BOA,MOS 
• Founder secretary and Chairperson of Indian railway ophthalmologists association( affiliated to AIOS)
