Introduction:

Dr. Jeenam Shah received his medical graduate in 2010, from the prestigious Seth G.S. Medical College and K.E.M. hospital which is consistently ranked among the top 10 medical universities in India. He received his medical doctorate with a Gold Medal from Seth G.S. Medical College and K.E.M. hospital in the year 2014.

Dr. Shah joined as an Assistant Professor in Department of Chest Medicine & E.P.R.C, K.E.M. hospital in the year 2015. Dr. Shah then joined Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, New Delhi as a Fellow in Interventional Pulmonology and Thoracic Oncology. His training included advanced bronchoscopy techniques for diagnosing and treatment of various benign and malignant respiratory disorders. He was conferred upon Fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology & Thoracic Oncology in 2016 by the esteemed Indian Association of Bronchology (IAB). He is the first Pulmonologist from Mumbai and second in the country to be officially certified by the IAB. Dr. Jeenam got further trained in Interventional Pulmonology from the renowned Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Diseases, China. His training included advanced procedures like Bronchoscopic Navigation and Bronchial Thermoplasty which are promising innovations in our field.

Dr. Jeenam Shah holds a European Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine (EDRM) for his excellence in the Field of Pulmonary Medicine. He has been honoured with Fellowship in American College of Chest Physician which testifies his expertise of International standard. Dr. Shah has also received special training in Allery and Asthma from the well-known Christian Medical College, Vellore and subsequently was awarded with Diploma in Allergy and Asthma (DAA)
