He is renowned for his expertise in Phacoemulsification Cataract Surgery, Complex Vitreo-Retinal Surgeries and Laser Surgeries

Introduction:

He trained at Grant Medical College and the Royal College of Surgeons (UK). His comprehensive knowledge of ophthalmology has played a major role in his referral practise as he has national and international patients who seek his expertise. He has taught and trained over a 100 resident doctors and was Professor and examiner for the national board. He has treated huge number of patients and performed TEN THOSAND PLUS complex eye surgeries. He has presented his work in 200 plus meetings nationally and internationally. Invited on numerous forums as guest speaker for the past two decades. He has various publications to his credit. 

Awards & Publications : 

Among the many national awards received, his most cherished ones are the Gold Medal (2016) and Exemplary Plaque (2018) awarded by the Bombay Ophthalmology Society, Distinguished Teacher award by the NATIONAL BOARD ACCREDITED Institutions (2019) and the Honouring a Very Special Doctor and Teacher award by the Jaslok hospital (2019).
