Research Experience:

  • Project Title- "Isolation and Characterization of Regulatory T Cells in Heterogeneous Population" at Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre, Mumbai 400026, Maharashtra, India

The research is carried out by isolation and characterization of the CD4+ CD25+ regulatory T cells from the peripheral blood by Flowcytometry for further in various clinical conditions like Graft versus Host Disease in post Allogenic hematopoetic stem cell transplant, various autoimmune disorders like Type I diabetes, Hashimotos Thyroiditis, rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune haptitis, SLE; Pregnancy less than 14 weeks, and cord blood. Our aim is to have a comparative study of the population of regulatory T cells in enumerated disorders with the control samples.

  • Project Title- "Prospective study of xyton versus culture in stem cell transplant and haematological paatients with suspected infection and sepsis- 100 patients"
