Paediatric Liver Clinic

Established in 2010, the Paediatric Liver Clinic at Jaslok Hospital is a specialised centre that provides comprehensive care to children with liver diseases. The clinic is staffed by a team of highly skilled paediatric hepatologists, nurses, nutritionists, and support staff who work together to provide exceptional care to patients.

The clinic offers a range of services to diagnose and treat liver conditions in children, including genetic, metabolic, congenital, biliary, parenchymal & vascular disorders. The team provides routine check-ups and medical care, including immunizations, and works closely with other departments within the hospital, such as transplant surgery and gastroenterology, to provide integrated care to patients.

Apart from medical management, the clinic also provides advanced procedures to treat liver conditions, including Liver Biopsy, DSA to liver vascular anatomy, ERCP & MRCP.

Jaslok Hospital is also a pioneer institute in treating cases of Budd-Chiari Syndrome (Hepatic Vein Thrombosis) using the TIPSS procedure.
