Introduction:

Dr. Animesh Kumar has more than 12 years of experience in clinical practice. After graduating from TNMC, Mumbai, he completed a Diploma in Orthopaedic from India's oldest and one of the most prestigious medical colleges, Medical College Kolkata. He was awarded a gold medal in the final year university examination. He was also awarded B Braun's best postgraduate in Orthopaedic in India in 2010. Subsequently, he completed his DNB. Then he underwent training in joint replacement surgery and was awarded Fellowship in joint replacement. He was selected for  MCh in Hip and Knee at  Wrightington Hospital, UK. He spent two years in the UK and gained extensive expertise in complex primary and revision joint replacement surgery. 
His subjects of interest are hip and knee replacement surgeries including complex primary and revision arthroplasties and peri-articular fracture surgeries. 
He is actively involved in research and audit and is an active member of the Indian Orthopaedic Association, the Bombay Orthopaedic Society, the Indian Society of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the Indian Medical Association, and the Association of Medical Consultants.
