Introduction:

Dr Avi Shah is a well-trained, patient-centric, and highly skilled pediatric orthopaedic surgeon. With his years of experience, he brings positivity along with his surgical skills and competence to delivering care to his patients. He is thorough, meticulous and has a compassionate approach. He completed his UG from KIMS, Bangalore and PG from SDUMC, Kolar with a gold medal in orthopaedics. He learnt the art and science of paediatric orthopaedics from BJ Wadia Children’s Hospital Mumbai and went on for further professional training with Fellowships in Paediatric sports from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital USA. He has trained in Child and Adolescent Hip Preservation and Arthroscopy along with complex Limb Reconstruction from Sheffield Children's Hospital (UK). He is an active member of multiple orthopaedic societies including the Paediatric Orthopaedic Society of India, the Bombay Orthopaedic Society, and SICOT. He has a keen interest in teaching and research and has many national and international presentations and publications in his field.
