Introduction:

Dr. C J Hemant Kumar is a consultant Cardiovascular & Thoracic surgeon attached to Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre. He has performed more than 15,000 heart surgeries which include surgeries of coronary arteries, valves, carotid arteries, aortic aneurysm, cardiac arrhythmias, myocardial total arterial revascularization with excellent results. He does a lot of bypasses for vascular blocks as well as end arterectomies. He also has great experience in Endovascular Stentings for aortic aneurysms and Hybrid surgeries. He is deeply committed to providing heart surgery to the poor and has conducted hundreds of free closed heart surgeries ( CMC ‘s and PDA’s) at Amravati, Nashik, Yavatmal, Pusad, Wardha, Washim etc.

He also has special interest in training, education and is a post graduate teacher for MCh & DNB students. He has given post doctoral training of international standards to many surgeons.
