Introduction:

Ritika Aggarwal has been a Psychologist at Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre since 2013. She practices behavioural medicine for patients across our medical and surgical departments as well as walk-in patients. Patients are referred to her to address a range of issues, from non-compliance and difficulty accepting diagnosis to anxiety, depression, somatisation disorders, alcoholism, burnout, and stress. She also works extensively with patients and their families to psycho-educate and help them cope with their diagnosis and the disabilities, limitations and stigma that occasionally accompany it. In addition to therapy and counselling techniques, she also applies basic principles of sound and music therapy when helping her clients.

She is a part of multiple rehabilitation programs, transplant teams, speciality clinics, support groups, research projects, and clinical trials at the hospital.

Additionally, she conducts mental health awareness workshops on a multitude of topics for our corporate clients, support groups, in-house programs, and outreach programs.
