An 8-year-old child underwent successful surgery for Papillary Thyroid Cancer at a hospital in Mumbai. Despite challenges due to his age, the surgery was performed without complications. Thyroid cancer happens when the cancerous cells grow in the thyroid gland. The child was discharged after postoperative care and will require further treatment.
