Dr. Sonal Agrawal Bhandare is a highly experienced histopathologist with over 15 years of post-MD expertise in diagnostic and surgical pathology. She completed her MD in Pathology from BJ Medical College, Pune, and subsequently pursued a dedicated fellowship in uropathology and renal pathology at Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai.

She has extensive experience in oncologic pathology, having worked as a Senior Resident in Histopathology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, where she gained significant exposure to complex cancer diagnostics and intraoperative frozen sections. Over the years, she has been associated with several reputed institutions including Hinduja Hospital, SRL Diagnostics, and Saifee Hospital, strengthening her expertise in both histopathology and cytology.

Dr. Bhandare has been a full-time Consultant in Surgical Pathology at Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai, since 2017, and has been associated with the institution for over 9 years. She has played an important role in histopathology reporting, cytology, FNAC, and multidisciplinary diagnostic correlation. She also has experience in immunohistochemistry laboratory setup and DNB teaching.

Her areas of special interest include oncopathology, renal pathology, gastrointestinal and liver pathology, and intraoperative consultations. With her comprehensive training and experience, she is known for delivering accurate, timely, and clinically relevant diagnoses that significantly contribute to patient care.
