Introduction

A graduate from Seth GS Medical College, Mumbai and post-graduate from AIIMS, New Delhi, Dr. Shruti Tandan was awarded FNB in Critical Care Medicine in 2007, after which she joined Critical Care Department at Jaslok Hospital. Dr. Tandan was awarded the Hargobind scholarship that enabled her to received super-specialty training in Hepatic Intensive Care at the Liver ITU at King’s College Hospital, London.

Dr. Tandan has managed all kinds of emergencies: Burns, pancreatitis, poisoning, septicaemia with multi-organ failure, ARDS, acute and chronic respiratory failure, Obstretic emergencies Acute renal failure,  Acute stroke and Acute Coronary Syndrome. Dr. Shruti Tandan is adept at post-op management of complicated abdominal surgeries, complex cardiac surgeries, high-risk oncosurgery and neurosurgery.

She has a keen interest in managing acute and chronic liver failure and post-transplant care.

Dr Tandan specializes in peri-op Nutrition and targeted nutritional therapy in critically ill patients.
