Introduction:

Dr. Puneet Mashru is a Consultant and Additional Director in the Department of Rheumatology at Jaslok Hospital. He has trained in rheumatology at the P.D. Hinduja National Hospital & Research Centre, Christian Medical College, Vellore, and NNUH in Norwich, U.K. He is also a Certified Clinical Densitometrist (International Society for Clinical Densitometry, USA). Apart from managing routine rheumatologic cases like rheumatism, Ankylosing Spondylitis etc., he has special interest in complex connective tissue diseases, vasculitis and rheumatological emergencies. He has expertise in intra-articular injections and is well versed with use of biological agents – TNF blockers, IL-6 blockers, Rituximab etc. He has published multiple research papers and case reports in Indian and international journals  as well as authored a chapter in the Indian Manual of Rheumatology text book.
