Introduction:

Dr. Jyotsna Palgamkar has performed and assisted in various major & minor gynecologic, obstetric, general surgery and infertility related procedures including abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy, exploratory laparotomy, operations for vaginal and uterine prolapse, myomectomy, reconstructive tubal, uterine, ovarian, and vaginal surgery, repair of genital fistulae, tubal sterilization by vaginal and abdominal approach, operative and diagnostic laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, Hysterosalphingography, Sonohysterosalphingograhy. Performing the Assisted Reproductive technology related procedures include transvaginal sonographically directed follicular puncture for oocyte retrieval, Embryo transfer, Endometrial Receptive Analysis, Intrauterine & Intraovarian instillation of Platlet Rich Plasmas.

Dr. Jyotsna has independently performed OPU and ET. She has assisted Chorionic villus biopsy, Amniocentesis, and fetal reduction. She is well versed with all the obstetrics procedures vaginal deliveries, Cesearean sections, Vacuum and forcep deliveries and can handle all the obstetric complications.

After Joining Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre, she attended the Laparoscopy Hysteroscopy under the guidance of Dr. Neeta Warty. She looks after obstetrics patients and perform Cesarean sections under guidance of Dr. Anahita Pandole and has also assisted Dr. Chander Lulla (Sonologist) with Fetal Medicine Procedures.
